Gudeng Group(3680)It was previously announced that the subsidiary, Guchii Technology Co., Ltd., will collaborate with strategic partner Giga Computing to develop immersion cooling technologyTwo-phase Immersion Cooling SystemRelated solutions strengthen the group’s semiconductor service scope and create new growth momentum. Gudeng Group Chairman Ming-Chien Chiu mentioned that the group’s strategy focuses on specialized applications. Although there are some initial challenges, the main goal is to help customers address ESG and energy efficiency issues.
Gudeng also mentioned that Taiwan possesses one of the world’s most comprehensive advanced cooling and thermal management technology ecosystems, with over 90% of data center servers supplied by Taiwan-based companies. Guchii, together with partner manufacturers, collaborates to develop solutions aimed at serving the AI market.
Guchii previously explained that immersion cooling involves submerging objects into a non-conductive cooling liquid, allowing the heat generated by electronic components during operation to be directly transferred to the cooling liquid. Compared to traditional air cooling methods, immersion cooling offers several advantages, including higher cooling efficiency and lower energy consumption. This technology effectively meets the demands of high-intensity computing and operation. With a long-term insight into industry trends and a pursuit of technological leadership, Gudeng Group’s subsidiary, Guchii Technology Co., Ltd., will collaborate with strategic partner GIGA Computing to develop immersion cooling solutions. This initiative aims to strengthen the group’s semiconductor service portfolio and create new growth momentum.
Immersion cooling involves submerging objects into a non-conductive cooling liquid, allowing the heat generated by electronic components during operation to be directly transferred to the cooling liquid. Among immersion cooling methods, two-phase immersion cooling uses a low-boiling-point coolant that rapidly vaporizes as the electronic components heat up. The vapor then rises to the top of the cooling system, where it condenses back into liquid through low-temperature metal piping, dripping back into the coolant reservoir.
Compared to traditional air cooling methods, immersion cooling offers several advantages, including higher heat dissipation efficiency and lower energy consumption. This technology effectively meets the demands of high-intensity computing and operations. As NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated at COMPUTEX, “This is the future!”—highlighting the growing importance of immersion cooling in the thermal management industry.
Gudeng previously transferred 7,000 shares of its subsidiary Guchii to GIGA Computing. Gudeng Group announced that its subsidiary, Guchii Technology Co., Ltd., will collaborate with strategic partner GIGA Computing to develop immersion cooling solutions, aiming to strengthen the group’s semiconductor service portfolio and create new growth momentum.
