Gudeng Group（3680）GiGABYTE Group's（2376）On the 8th, Guchii Technology celebrated the grand opening of its new base in New Taipei City – The Guchii Building. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including representatives from the General Association of Startups and the Lions Clubs International. GIGABYTE Group’s General Manager, Mr. Lee Yi-Tai, also attended in person, underscoring the strong partnership between the two companies and affirming Gudeng deep commitment to cultivating sustainable growth in Tucheng. The Guchii Building is the first completed facility under the vertical industrial park policy for the Tucheng Industrial Zone. New Taipei City Deputy Mayor Chen Chun-Ching attended the opening ceremony and stated that the establishment of Gudeng Group’s R&D and manufacturing base marks a key milestone in New Taipei’s City semiconductor precision manufacturing cluster. He expressed hope that this development would drive advancements in cutting-edge processes and high-purity material applications, further enhancing the entire industry value chain. Deputy Mayor Chen also extended his gratitude to Chairman Ming-Chien Chiu of Gudeng Group for his long-term dedication to New Taipei City and continued investment, injecting robust technological innovation into the city.

Amid recent significant changes in the global industrial landscape and the expectation of an increasingly challenging global trade environment, Gudeng Group, in order to ensure continuous operations and mitigate risks associated with factory concentration, invested NT$487 million on August 7, 2020, to acquire a site of 870.29 ping from the YiChiu Group. The company subsequently integrated adjacent irregular lands, expanding the total site area to 901.45 ping. The project includes the construction of a research and production base with three underground levels and seven above-ground floors, each with a ceiling height ranging from 6 to 7.5 meters, covering a total floor area of 5,248.07 ping. Groundbreaking took place on April 27, 2020, the beam-raising ceremony was held on May 9, 2024, and the building was finally completed and put into operation this year. With a total investment of NT$1.6 billion, this new group building will serve as a key R&D and production hub for Gudeng and its subsidiary, Guchii Technology.

Gudeng places its major customers’ demands, yield, and efficiency as top priorities, dedicating itself to providing zero-delay, high-quality services. Tucheng is where Gudeng has deeply rooted its growth. Here, Gudeng is further establishing an R&D and production base, enabling its subsidiary Guchii Technology to leverage the concentration of talent and resource integration in northern Taiwan.
